Nate Dern is a writer and actor who lives in Los Angeles. He is a senior writer at Funny Or Die and the former artistic director of the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York City. Books will be sold by A Great Good Place for Books.

Marlene Aron will present a slideshow on Mary Cassatt, Berthe Morisot and other female artists of the 1800s.

Sportswriter Marcus Thompson Talking About Steph Curry
Calling all Warriors fans: Sportswriter Marcus Thompson will discuss and sign copies of his biography, Golden: The Miraculous Rise of Stephen Curry (due out in paperback Oct. 2017). Copies of his book will be on sale courtesy of A Great Good Place for Books.

Joyce Maynard
Maynard returns to Montclair Library to discuss and sign copies of her new memoir, The Best of Us, her story about discovering her true partner, Jim Barringer (a Montclair resident), in mid-life, only to lose him to a battle with cancer. Copies will be sold courtesy of A Great Good Place for Books.

Lawyers in the Library
Second Tuesday of the month, 6:00-8:00pm
Register by phone starting one week in advance.

Lawyers in the Library offers free legal information and referral. The program is co-sponsored by the Alameda County Bar Association (510-302-2222). If legal help is required, people are referred to the Bar Association Lawyer Referral Service or other agencies. Sessions are popular and sometimes subject to change. Please call in advance to confirm before coming to the library.
