Lawyers in the Library
Lawyers in the Library is currently on hold at the Montclair branch while we look for a new volunteer lawyer. If you’re interested in volunteering, please contact OPL or the Alameda County Bar Association. In the meantime, you can find lawyers at other libraries.

Second Tuesday of the month, 6:00-8:00pm
Register by phone starting one week in advance. Lawyers in the Library offers free legal information and referral. The program is co-sponsored by the Alameda County Bar Association (510-302-2222). If legal help is required, people are referred to the Bar Association Lawyer Referral Service or other agencies. Sessions are popular and sometimes subject to change. Please call in advance to confirm before coming to the library.

Book Sales
Sadly, we’ve had to end our big spring and fall book sales due to lack of storage space. We do still offer a curated selection of books for all ages for sale at the library any day the library is open.
