Book Art Contest

Unbound Book Art and Craft Contest

The Unbound Book Art & Craft Contest returns for a fifth year in 2017, challenging you to create something new and interesting from an old book in honor of National Craft Month.

Sometimes we receive donated books which are too old or damaged to re-sell. Now we’d like to see what you can do with them. Give them new life by turning them into art, a craft or something in between. We put together this Pinterest board to show you some of the things people have made from books – let it inspire you, but not limit you!

Pick up one of our free books at the library (or use your own), and make an art or craft project with it. Your finished work must feature a book or parts of a book.

Entries can be turned in starting April 15, 2017, and are due at the library by 5:30pm on Saturday, April 29, 2017.
