Next up in our vintage book sale: The Golden Book of California, a celebration of the University of California, Berkeley published in 1937.
This unique volume would be a great gift for a Cal fan, or an interesting addition to a historical society collection or or genealogy research. The bulk of the book is an alphabetical and geographical index listing everyone who attended Cal up through 1936, and it also contains the lyrics to Cal songs, photos of student life and traditions, ads from sponsors and other memorabilia.
It has a blue pebbled cloth cover with a grad’s name stamped in gilt on the cover and measures approximately 10.75″ by 8.25″.
