Bruce Jenkins: Shop Around: Growing up with Motown in a Sinatra Household – 6:30-8:00pm
Come hear Bruce Jenkins, San Francisco Chronicle sports columnist, discuss his recent memoir, Shop Around: Growing Up with Motown in a Sinatra Household. Learn how the son of well-known conductor and composer Gordon Jenkins discovered his love of R&B and soul music while growing up in Malibu. Copies of his book will be available for purchase and signing afterwards.

PAWS to Read with BARK Therapy Dogs – 1:30pm
New & practicing readers can read to Natasha, a certified therapy dog who loves listening to kids read. Reading to dogs can help increase kids’ reading confidence, skill and enjoyment.

Beautiful Mess – 3:00-4:00pm
What are we making? Whatever you want! And it’s going to be beautiful. And messy. This art program lets kids focus more on the process than the product using a variety of media. For all ages; kids 5 and under should be accompanied by a grownup. Beautiful Mess will happen every second Wednesday from 3-4 pm.

Make Someone’s Day! – 3:00pm
Want to share a message of love to someone you appreciate? Come and join us at the Library to make Valentine’s Day Cards. We will have craft supplies for you to get creative with and for that special someone, plus a few LED lights to add a sparkle to your card.

Songs, active rhymes and stories especially for ages 18 months to 3 years, followed by playtime! Make new friends and play with toys.

Baby Bounce – 11:30-11:50am
Play, sing and rhyme one on one with your baby from birth to 18 months, followed by playtime! Make new friends and play with toys.
