Asian Pacific Islanders American Heritage Month – Peopleologie – 3:30pm
Peopleologie comes to Oakland to help us celebrate Asian Pacific Islander Heritage Month. We will both learn about and have a chance to experience ancient arts of silk, dyeing, and even obi making through the Japan: Silkworms, Dyepot, and Kimono program. Come experience the wonders of fabric and dyeing, the Japanese way. Best for children six and over.

Celebrate Free Comic Book Day at the Oakland Public Library! Supplies are limited, but visit your local library and receive one free comic book. Want even more comics? Check them out with your library card! Comics generously provided by Diamond Comic Distributors and Dark Carnival Bookstore.
