Friends of Montclair Library

A big thanks to everyone who participated in the library’s summer reading programs, especially with the Montclair Branch being closed at the beginning of the program.

There will be a free family Summer Reading Program party for all participants on Sunday, August 9 from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Oakland Museum of California. More details on the OPL website at http://www.oaklandlibrary.org/PR/pr072309fun.htm

The Teen Summer Passport Program will have its own party on Saturday, August 29, at 3 pm at the Main Library’s TeenZone, 125 14th St. The party will feature live music by the Bay Area Girls Rock Camp.
