Wednesday, August 5th at 6pm, join local author Anne Breedlove to discuss her book Happy Campers, the story of how she and her husband Jim set out to bicycle from California to the Atlantic Ocean – and ended up on a six-month, 7,254-mile adventure through 21 states and two Canadian provinces.
Hear more about her adventures, including the landscapes, small towns and colorful characters she encountered along the way. Books will be available for sale at the event.
About the author
Raised in Rensselaer County across the Hudson River from Albany, New York’s capital, Anne Breedlove has made San Francisco home since 1972. Anne and her husband Jim retired young to travel as much of the world as they could on their bikes, cycling 21 countries and pedaling more than 40,000 loaded miles to date.
