Join us at the library on Tuesday, June 11 from 6:30-7:30pm to discuss Fire in the Hills, a moving compilation of photos, poetry and personal stories from the 1991 Oakland Hills Fire edited by Patricia Adler. The book has been a little tricky to locate, but you’re welcome to attend even if you haven’t had a chance to read it – we’ll have copies you can look through and many of us probably have our own fire stories to tell, too.
