Come take a virtual walk through Oakland c. 2002 as our book club discusses Ishmael Reed’s Blues City. Weaving together history and the present, Reed visits a lot of places that will be familiar to those of you who’ve been reading along with us, including Jack London’s haunts and an Oakland powwow.
