Asheba will perform at the Montclair branch June 5

Wednesday, June 5, 2019
Henna for Teens! – 3:30-4:30pm
Learn about the ancient art of henna at the library this summer! Henna tattoos are temporary, but can last up to 8-10 days. A permission form signed by a parent/guardian is required for this workshop. Pick one up at your local library or email teensatopl@gmail.com to ask us to send one to you. (Ages 12-18)

Montclair Library Book Worms – 4:00-5:00pm
Do you like to read books and talk about them? At the Montclair Library Book Worms Book Club, we will pick out books to read and meet once a month to talk about them. Snacks will be provided! The book club is for grades 4 and up. This month we’re discussing From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler by E.L. Konigsburg.

Asheba! – 6:30pm
Asheba is a musical storyteller who specializes in calypso, the musical and folkloric oral tradition of Trinidad. As soon as Asheba begins to perform you will be up on your feet dancing.

Toddler Storytime – 10:15-10:50am
Songs, active rhymes and stories especially for ages 18 months to 3 years, followed by playtime! Make new friends and play with toys.

Baby Bounce – 11:30-11:50am
Play, sing and rhyme one on one with your baby from birth to 18 months, followed by playtime! Make new friends and play with toys.

Build, Make, Play – 4:00pm (Note new summer time)
Join us this summer for creative opportunities – a different one each week! The summer will include paper crafts, making slime, and more!
