Friends of Montclair Library

Montclair Library’s Second Annual Mystery Night will be Tuesday, June 16th from 6:30-8:00pm. Local author Steven Gore will talk about his latest Harlan Donnally novel, Night is the Hunter, and share writing advice for others who may be interested in pursuing a similar career in the crime genre.

In this new thriller, ex-San Francisco homicide detective Donnally tries to help an anguished judge whose failing memory has left him with serious doubts about whether justice was done in the case of a man who was sentenced to death for a gangland murder.

Books will be available for sale and signing courtesy of A Great Good Place for Books. This event is co-sponsored by the Oakland Public Library and the Friends of the Montclair Library.
