New OPL Feature: Streaming Video

Movie Night photo by Ginny via Flickr / Creative Commons

Your library card now gets you access to stream feature films and TV shows directly from OPL’s website using the OverDrive app.  Offerings include everything from Romance, Comedy and Drama to Indie and Foreign films, Horror, Sci-Fi and even Teen and Children’s content.

Checkout up to 10 titles at a time and view them instantly, for up to 21 days. You can even renew them. If the title you want is checked out to someone else, you can place a hold on it just like with a library book.

All digital titles are automatically returned to your library at the end of their lending periods, so you never have to worry about late fees.

For more information about streaming movies, see Getting Started with Streaming Video from Your Library. And there’s more information about returns for streaming video in the OverDrive Help section.

Need more help? Come to one of the regular workshops at Montclair Library about using e-books and other library electronic services — the next one will be Saturday, March 21 from 3-5pm. Get all the details here.
