Banned Books Week

Banned Books Week 2013

This week is Banned Books Week, an annual event celebrating the freedom to read. From The Catcher in the Rye to Captain Underpants, books of all sorts come up for challenge every year.

To learn more, have a look at the ALA’s lists of Frequently Challenged Books, see the top 10 most challenged books from 2012, or take the ACLU’s Banned Books Quiz to see how many you’ve read.
