It’s that time of year – newspapers are publishing their “best books of 2011” lists.
Check out the versions from the San Francisco Chronicle and the New York Times and start making your wishlist for when the Montclair library reopens Tuesday, January 3. What was your favorite book you read this year? Feel free to comment.
If our little branch doesn’t have a book you want, did you know how easy it is to request one from another branch in the Oakland Public Library system? Just go to oaklandlibrary.org and search the catalog for your book. Once you’re on the page for your book, click the Request button at the top of the page and have it delivered right to the Montclair branch. You’ll even get an email when it’s ready to pick up. Easy peasy.
