There was a nice plug for the Montclair branch in today’s Berkeley Parents Network “Recommendations” newsletter – someone asked which libraries in the area were good for toddlers, and this was one of the responses:
…in Oakland I think that the Montclair Library is great for toddlers. In addition to lots of picture books on the shelves, they have several baskets of board books on the floor that the kids can go through on their own. They also have lots of puppets, puzzles, and some boxes of blocks and cars that kids can play with. It is pretty easy to park on the street nearby as well!
Hey, thanks! And by the way, if you haven’t been to Toddler Storytime (for kids up to age 3) at the Montclair branch, check it out every Thursday from 10:15-10:45am – but get there early – it’s popular!
