It was a busy and exciting month at the library in May, and we couldn’t have done it without you! Thanks to everyone who came to our history and mystery presentations (and to our wonderful presenters!), shopped at our successful book sale, donated to our book sale…and to the staff and volunteers who made everything happen behind the scenes. And thanks to the awesome kids and parents from Aurora School, who came to our birthday party 5/22 and presented us with a lovely check for 25% of the proceeds from their 5K run. Last but not least, thanks to OPL Director of Library Services Carmen Martinez for coming to the party, and to city council rep Jean Quan and Community Liaison Sue Piper for bringing the birthday cake.
We really do have a great community here in Montclair, and we sincerely appreciate your support for the library, especially in these tough economic times.
